How much should everyone chip in?
A leaving do, a big birthday, a new baby in the team: you want one proper gift from everyone. Here's the split, the message to send round, and a way to collect it all without chasing anyone.

Things that make a group gift go smoothly
- Agree the gift first, then the share — not the other way round. A fixed amount divided fairly feels better to people than an open pot.

- Give a deadline a day or two before the occasion, and send one reminder.
- Keep the amount private from the recipient — with an experience gift they only ever see what they can choose, never the price.
